Christine is a poet, essayist, and storyteller. Her essays chronicle her journey as a believer; her poetry love, family, friendship, and self; and her stories her life. The daughter of a Jamaican father and Vincentian mother, her work often discusses her island upbringing in America. In the Fall of 2007, she attended The Howard University School of Business and later moved to Brooklyn, NY. While living in NY she confirmed herself as a writer and began performing her work publicly. It was there she established a relationship with a theatre where she wrote three plays, two of which she directed. She has performed her work in D.C., New York, Phoenix, and Memphis. Christine currently lives in Memphis, TN where she produces and directs a storytelling series called Come Tell a Story.
